3 Kuiks (skulls): These paintings represent the change in time and cultural practices. The two human skulls represent head hunting/war time in the Torres Strait. A longt ime ago in Torres Strait culture, skulls were collected and used as currency for trading. The wild bull skull represents how today bull skjulls are colectedand decorated to be kept as trophies.
