Owning dogs really brings a lot of happiness to bama. They keep you company and stop you feeling lonely, you know. Dogs have been our best mates for a long time. In our language, we call them guudarr. We’ve got plenty of guudarr here in Hope Vale. Some of them are cheeky too! Always getting up to mischief, running around, doing their own thing. But they do good as well — like chasing the bullocks and horses out of our gardens!
