This paintning depicts the waters on the shoreline of Jilji creek in Yarrabah far north Queensland. Dyrrin has many memories of fishing and camping along the creek with his family. Particularly fishing for Barramundi and hunting for mud crabs in the mangroves. Special consideration had to be made when at the edge of the creek as it contains saltwater crocodiles and the water has been stained dark red by decomposing plant matter.
