Cecelia Slade ' Summertime Cushion'
During the hot wet season, there are many clues you can find that tell you 'Summer is here'. You can feel the humidity rise and stay with you all through the day. the days start to stretch out inti the night and the afternoons become still with the build up of the summer storm. Another and most favourite clue of mine is the arrival of the Christmas Beetle. the beetle eggs wait all year for the Spring rains to soften the soil and emerge. when the adult beetles are finally abele to be seen and heard buzzing around, you know its Summer Time.
