Billabong Series “Crocodile in the Mangroves”, 2024
Acrylic on canvas

I paint environmental paintings to highlight the importance of protecting our natural
environments and ecosystems on Country.
The animals in these fragile ecosystems rely not only on waterways, creeks and mangroves
for their survival but on each other, as well as co-existence with one another.
Hopefully one day, my art will bring this awareness to the public and remind them of the importance of protecting these fragile ecosystems.
My Billabong series of artworks aims to catch a small snippet of the everyday life of
a crocodile, other animals and insects which inhabit these delicate environments on Country
and rely on each other for their survival.
