Beach Treasures are works that remind me of my mother. On our beach trips, she would search the shoreline for the exoskeletons of sea urchins. Finding one that was not cracked or damaged was rare, but it was always so exciting when it did happen. Beach treasures remind me of my childhood—sunshiny fun and long summer days at the beach.
