The first time I caught a crocodile I was fishing along the Gilbert River, near Delta Downs Station. I was fishing with my best friend and her husband. I cleaned it, dug a hole in the sand, made a fire, wrapped up the crocodile in foil then buried it in the coals with sand over the top. After being left in its bush oven overnight it was delicious. There was plenty to take back to town for my family and children.
