This work represents the warrior within me and my ancestral connection to Saibai Island  in the  Torres Straits. The man in the middle wearing a traditional headdress known as a ‘Dhibal’ represents me . The two faces on either side represents my ancestors from both my grandmothers and grandfathers family ties. In my culture we share great respect for our elders that have gone before us.
