The sun is setting on another wonderful day. Sitting at the Mutton Hole Wetlands in Normanton is so peaceful and watching the Korrakorrs (Brolgas) walk and forage in the water. I stare through the lens and click. I leave feeling elated and excited from this experience and have photos to cherish. The Korrakorr were my great-grandmother’s totem. Korrakorrs are omnivores whose diet consists of various food sources, including bush plants and animals, such as wetland plants and tubers, insects, amphibians, molluscs, small mice, and snakes.
