My father is a Binthi warra man from the Guugu Yimithirr warra Nation. Our homeland is a source of food and has all the qualities, traditions, and features of life there that have continued over many years, passed down from one generation to another. Our country means so much more than land, waterways, mountains, and plains. It is our connection to place, linking us with the plant and animal species of land, water, and sky.
