I aimed to create a painting that embodies my family (Dingaal Bama) by showcasing our totem, the Walmbaar (stingray). This journey took me back to moments spent with my father on the veranda at home, where he shared his wealth of stories. Through this artwork, I honour him and keep his stories alive.
