I wanted to capture the peaceful beauty and energy of the lagoon on Country. I painted the fish, turtle and birdlife moving through the water among the water lilies and floating plants, with the reflections of daylight dancing across the surface. The bright colours reflect the
joy and calm I feel when spending time near the water. For me, the lagoon is full of life, movement and connection. This is the place that brings happiness, balance and a strong connection to Kokoberrin Country.
