As the day comes to an end, the lagoon becomes quiet and still, filled with soft light and peaceful movement. In this work, I painted the crocodile resting near the water among the birds, water lilies and thick plant life, all living together in balance and harmony. I used
gentle movement and rich natural colours to reflect the peaceful connection between the animals, the water and the landscape. For me, this scene represents coexistence, respect and the living spirit of Country as day moves slowly into evening
