Plains turkeys are beautiful, striking birds. I usually see them in the country on the Cape, across from Savannah, near my hometown. My uncle used to hunt them, but only a few family members go hunting these days. This artwork is a memory of my uncle, who made sure to supply the family with food and good nutrition.
