My dad used to share stories about the Bulnja, describing how they perch in trees and sing at night. Occasionally, we would spot them during the day. One evening, I spotted one and felt an urge to paint it immediately, as it reminded me of my dad’s stories. I have a deep love for painting every day, as it allows me to express my stories through my art. This passion for painting stems from my desire to convey stories, memories, feelings, and my cultural heritage.
