Aber is a traditional Torres Strait name for the sea cucumber, a quiet caretaker of the ocean floor. Moving slowly across the seabed, Aber cleans and restores its environment. Where Aber is abundant, the sea floor becomes clear white sand, a sign of balance, care, and the unseen work of nature beneath the sea.
